T.S. Of Cycas revoluta leaflet


it is the transverse section of Cycas revoluta leaflet
main characteristic feature of C. Revoluta leaflet is curved lamina.
The upperm
ost layer is cuticle folowed by the epidermis and below the epidermis hypodermis is present
below it pallisade layer of cell are found and then acessory transfusion tissue and below the acessory transfusion are seen after this spongy parenchyma are present
and stomata are sunken which is the xerophytic character and stomata are found only the lower surface of the leaflet and this condition is called as HYPOSTOMATIC....

    bro, we have found a T S of cycas revoluta having two vascular bundle. I study in Christian college lucknow.
